Robust and reviewed
Ottawa Cares staff work in partnership with local food banks as well as Ottawa Public Health to create and update volunteer protocols for food hamper delivery. Protocols are updated frequently to reflect the latest developments in public health and best practices for food hamper delivery.
All volunteers with Ottawa Cares are asked to complete an online training module as part of the training and onboarding process.
