Organizing up to 150 volunteers for food bank hamper deliveries is no small job!

Profile: Michelle Ruel, Volunteer Coordinator for Ottawa Cares

Michelle joined the Manor Park Community Council (MPCC) in the summer of 2020 to coordinate the volunteers who delivery food bank hampers to residents.

Friendly, smart, and organized describe the skills that Michelle has brought to her job. Ottawa Cares has over 150 volunteers on-call to support 4 food banks. She has provided excellent feedback for volunteer management and routing software being integrated by local firm InItLive, especially for food delivery use.

Michelle can be found a local food bank almost any day of the week as she drops by to ensure that pick-ups and deliveries go smoothly.

Glad to have you on the team, Michelle!
