Change someone's story.

Food delivery from the Ottawa Food Bank to residents is essential. Here is the first story.

Test runs of the delivery protocols began yesterday. A dozen volunteers teamed up to deliver to 75 families along individual routes sorted out by our own Josh Cassidy.

On de-brief, a Food Bank worker told us about a woman who was so grateful to learn about the pending delivery service. She has injured her leg, and unable to visit her doctor. Regardless, she had to walk to the Food Bank to pick up her hamper. Food delivery is a game-changer for her.

Thank you volunteers! Ottawa Cares.
